Centrifugal fans and blowers work by spinning a wheel
or blade to force air into the centre of the wheel and then forcing it out
through the blades. The air is forced to circle as a result of the blades,
increasing pressure. The force with which the air is forced out through the
blades increases with increasing pressure. These can be used as an
illustration, consider chemical processing, managing corrosive gas, dust collection,
dryers, fume control, process cooling, and process heating. Centrifugal fans
and blowers are an equipment that, when used with equipped impellers, increases
the velocity of air or gas.
